How Alacahan votes

A single ballot box served Alacahan at the 2023 parliamentary election, with 21 registered voters; that places it 79th among the 85 localities of Tutak.

The neighborhood parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2023 parliamentary election it went to CHP with 12 votes, while across Tutak the leading party was Yeşil Sol Parti, with CHP here running 54.4 points above its district average. In the presidential runoff, 15 of 18 valid votes went to Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu — 25.0 points above the district average. At the 2017 referendum 15 of 16 valid votes were 'yes' — 37.2 points above the district average.
