Asagikulecik ranks 28th by electorate among the 85 localities of Tutak. The neighborhood has a single ballot box, and 195 voters were registered there for the 2023 parliamentary election.
The neighborhood parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2023 parliamentary election it went to AK Parti with 85 votes, while across Tutak the leading party was Yeşil Sol Parti, with AK Parti here running 31.7 points above its district average. In the presidential runoff, 141 of 152 valid votes went to Recep Tayyip Erdoğan — 51.1 points above the district average. At the 2017 referendum 162 of 165 valid votes were 'yes' — 41.7 points above the district average.
At the 2024 local election the neighborhood went to MHP with 121 votes, while Tutak as a whole was won by DEM Parti. Turnout at the 2023 parliamentary election was 81.5%, 7.7 points above the district average. The electorate shrank from 251 registered voters in 2011 to 195 in 2023 — a change of about 22 percent. The tightest race came at the 2014 local election: AK Parti took 82 votes to Saadet Partisi's 73 — a margin of just 9 votes.
