Bayindir ranks 30th by electorate among the 85 localities of Tutak. The neighborhood has a single ballot box, and 185 voters were registered there for the 2023 parliamentary election.
The neighborhood parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2023 parliamentary election it went to AK Parti with 88 votes, while across Tutak the leading party was Yeşil Sol Parti, with AK Parti here running 31.8 points above its district average. In the presidential runoff, 146 of 155 valid votes went to Recep Tayyip Erdoğan — 52.5 points above the district average. At the 2017 referendum 164 of 168 valid votes were 'yes' — 41.1 points above the district average.
At the 2024 local election the neighborhood went to AK Parti with 105 votes, while Tutak as a whole was won by DEM Parti. First place has changed hands 3 times here since 2009. The electorate shrank from 236 registered voters in 2011 to 185 in 2023 — a change of about 22 percent. Turnout at the 2023 parliamentary election was 88.1%, 14.3 points above the district average.
