Cobanoba ranks 55th by electorate among the 85 localities of Tutak. The neighborhood has a single ballot box, and 92 voters were registered there for the 2023 parliamentary election.
The neighborhood parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2023 parliamentary election it went to MHP with 57 votes, while across Tutak the leading party was Yeşil Sol Parti, with MHP here running 69.3 points above its district average. In the presidential runoff, 67 of 70 valid votes went to Recep Tayyip Erdoğan — 54.0 points above the district average. At the 2017 referendum 89 of 89 valid votes were 'yes' — 43.5 points above the district average.
