Kilicgedigi ranks 59th by electorate among the 85 localities of Tutak. The neighborhood has a single ballot box, and 81 voters were registered there for the 2023 parliamentary election.
The neighborhood parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2023 parliamentary election it went to AK Parti with 41 votes, while across Tutak the leading party was Yeşil Sol Parti, with AK Parti here running 40.6 points above its district average. In the presidential runoff, 49 of 66 valid votes went to Recep Tayyip Erdoğan — 32.6 points above the district average. At the 2017 referendum 60 of 62 valid votes were 'yes' — 40.3 points above the district average.
At the 2024 local election the neighborhood went to İYİ Parti with 41 votes, while Tutak as a whole was won by DEM Parti. Turnout at the 2023 parliamentary election was 81.5%, 7.7 points above the district average. First place has changed hands 6 times here since 2009. At the 2014 local election Saadet Partisi and BDP finished level, on 21 votes each.
