Yukariozdek ranks 66th by electorate among the 85 localities of Tutak. The neighborhood has a single ballot box, and 60 voters were registered there for the 2023 parliamentary election.
The neighborhood parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2023 parliamentary election it went to AK Parti with 23 votes, while across Tutak the leading party was Yeşil Sol Parti, with AK Parti here running 50.7 points above its district average. In the presidential runoff, 24 of 27 valid votes went to Recep Tayyip Erdoğan — 47.2 points above the district average. At the 2017 referendum 29 of 35 valid votes were 'yes' — 26.3 points above the district average.
The tightest race came at the 2011 parliamentary election: independents took 19 votes to AK Parti's 11 — a margin of just 8 votes. First place has changed hands 4 times here since 2009. At the 2024 local election the neighborhood went to AK Parti with 89 votes, while Tutak as a whole was won by DEM Parti. Turnout at the 2023 parliamentary election was 51.7%, 22.2 points below the district average.
