Orhangazi is one of the localities of Altındağ; it had 1,743 registered voters at the 2011 parliamentary election.

AK Parti took 54.0% in the neighborhood at that election. Across Altındağ the same party stood at 62.8%, putting the neighborhood 8.8 points below the district average. At the 2010 referendum 62.6% of the neighborhood voted 'yes'; across the district that was 67.3%.
