How Gemis-Yeni votes

Gemis-Yeni is one of the localities of Çardak; it had 859 registered voters at the 2011 parliamentary election.

AK Parti took 50.5% in the neighborhood at that election. Across Çardak the same party stood at 42.6%, putting the neighborhood 7.9 points above the district average. At the 2010 referendum 50.7% of the neighborhood voted 'yes'; across the district that was 43.4%.

At the 2009 local election the neighborhood went to CHP with 35.6%, while Çardak as a whole was won by AK Parti.
