CHP took 42.5% in the neighborhood at that election. Across Çardak the same party stood at 36.4%, putting the neighborhood 6.1 points above the district average. In the presidential runoff Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu took 55.9% here and 53.9% across the district. At the 2017 referendum 51.5% of the neighborhood voted 'no'; across the district that was 56.9%.
The neighborhood has stayed on the same line since 2023: CHP has finished first in all of the last 4 elections. CHP recorded its highest share at the 2015 parliamentary election with 52.7%. At the 2009 local election the neighborhood went to CHP with 48.4%, while Çardak as a whole was won by AK Parti. Turnout at the 2009 local election was 97.4%, 5.1 points above the district average.
