Gozler-Karsiyaka is one of the localities of Denizli Merkez; it had 1,382 registered voters at the 2011 parliamentary election.

The neighborhood parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2011 parliamentary election it went to CHP with 59.0%, while across Denizli Merkez the leading party was AK Parti with 48.3%, leaving CHP at 30.0%. At the 2010 referendum 78.2% of the neighborhood voted 'no'; across the district that was 53.4%.

The picture has not changed since 2009: CHP has finished first in all of the last 4 elections. At the 2009 local election the neighborhood went to CHP with 56.0%, while Denizli Merkez as a whole was won by AK Parti. Turnout at the 2009 local election was 96.7%, 8.6 points above the district average.
