At the 2010 referendum 78.2% of the neighborhood voted 'no' — 24.8 points above the district average.
Turnout at the 2009 local election was 96.7%, 8.6 points above the district average. At the 2009 local election the neighborhood went to CHP with 56.0%, while Denizli Merkez as a whole was won by AK Parti. At the 2011 parliamentary election 110 of 1,290 ballots cast were ruled invalid (8.5%), well above the district average. The picture has not changed since 2009: CHP has finished first in all of the last 4 elections.
