Hurriyet is one of the localities of Denizli Merkez; it had 5,204 registered voters at the 2011 parliamentary election.
AK Parti took 2,806 of the 4,770 valid votes cast in the neighborhood at that election (58.8%). That puts the neighborhood 10.5 points above the party's district average. At the 2010 referendum 59.5% of the neighborhood voted 'yes' — 12.9 points above the district average.
