How Karatas votes
Karatas is one of the localities of Denizli Merkez. The village has a single ballot box, and 230 voters were registered there for the 2011 parliamentary election.
214 people voted at that election. AK Parti took the most votes with 117; MHP followed with 49. AK Parti's share here is 7.7 points above the district average. At the 2010 referendum 102 of 192 valid votes were 'yes'; across the district the 'yes' share was 46.6%.
At the 2009 local election the village went to MHP with 77 votes, while Denizli Merkez as a whole was won by AK Parti.
