How Hamidiye votes

With 27 voters on the roll at the 2023 parliamentary election, Hamidiye stands 24th among the 24 localities of Güney, and its votes were cast at one ballot box.

The neighborhood parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2023 parliamentary election it went to AK Parti with 21 votes, while across Güney the leading party was CHP, with AK Parti here running 39.6 points above its district average. In the presidential runoff, 27 of 31 valid votes went to Recep Tayyip Erdoğan — 40.7 points above the district average. At the 2017 referendum 30 of 34 valid votes were 'yes' — 45.8 points above the district average.

The tightest race came at the 2015 parliamentary election: AK Parti took 15 votes to CHP's 12 — a margin of just 3 votes. At the 2024 local election the neighborhood went to AK Parti with 29 votes, while Güney as a whole was won by CHP. Turnout at the 2024 local election was 100.0%, 6.6 points above the district average. The picture has not changed since 2009: AK Parti has finished first in all of the last 15 elections.
