In the presidential runoff Recep Tayyip Erdoğan took 68.3% here — 1.5 points above the district average. At the 2017 referendum 76.1% of the neighborhood voted 'yes' — 9.0 points above the district average.
First place has changed hands 3 times here since 2009. Turnout at the 2009 local election was 93.5%, 6.2 points above the district average. The electorate grew from 254 registered voters in 2011 to 469 in 2023 — a change of about 85 percent. At the 2023 parliamentary election 33 of 393 ballots cast were ruled invalid (8.4%), well above the district average.
