42 people voted at that election. AK Parti took the most votes with 27; CHP followed with 5. AK Parti's share here is 20.0 points above the district average. In the presidential runoff, 33 of 40 valid votes went to Recep Tayyip Erdoğan — 20.9 points above the district average. At the 2017 referendum 39 of 44 valid votes were 'yes' — 27.1 points above the district average.
The picture has not changed since 2018: AK Parti has finished first in all of the last 8 elections. Turnout at the 2024 local election was 94.7%, 26.3 points above the district average. At the 2024 local election the neighborhood went to AK Parti with 29 votes, while Şehitkamil as a whole was won by CHP. The electorate shrank from 54 registered voters in 2018 to 37 in 2023 — a change of about 31 percent.
