How Payas-Yildirim Beyazit votes

Payas-Yildirim Beyazit is one of the localities of Dörtyol; it had 2,272 registered voters at the 2011 parliamentary election.

AK Parti took 966 of the 1,913 valid votes cast in the neighborhood at that election (50.5%). That puts the neighborhood 6.5 points above the party's district average. At the 2010 referendum 64.3% of the neighborhood voted 'yes' — 12.7 points above the district average.

The tightest race came at the 2009 local election: AK Parti took 756 votes to MHP's 743 — a margin of just 13 votes. At the 2009 local election the neighborhood went to AK Parti with 38.2%, while Dörtyol as a whole was won by MHP.
