Harbiye-Ismailli is one of the localities of Hatay Merkez; it had 1,748 registered voters at the 2011 parliamentary election.

CHP took 1,402 of the 1,514 valid votes cast in the neighborhood at that election (92.6%). That puts the neighborhood 26.2 points above the party's district average. At the 2010 referendum 93.4% of the neighborhood voted 'no' — 21.6 points above the district average.

The tightest race came at the 2009 local election: Demokrat Parti took 339 votes to CHP's 330 — a margin of just 9 votes.
