CHP took 580 of the 618 valid votes cast in the neighborhood at that election (93.9%). That puts the neighborhood 50.3 points above the party's district average. At the 2010 referendum 96.0% of the neighborhood voted 'no' — 35.6 points above the district average.
The picture has not changed since 2009: CHP has finished first in all of the last 4 elections. At the 2011 parliamentary election 30 of 648 ballots cast were ruled invalid (4.6%), well above the district average.
