Karaagac-Cumhuriyet is one of the localities of İskenderun; it had 2,857 registered voters at the 2011 parliamentary election.
CHP took 2,187 of the 2,456 valid votes cast in the neighborhood at that election (89.0%). That puts the neighborhood 45.5 points above the party's district average. At the 2010 referendum 96.2% of the neighborhood voted 'no' — 35.8 points above the district average.
