Karaagac-Ovunduk is one of the localities of İskenderun; it had 2,352 registered voters at the 2011 parliamentary election.
CHP took 1,852 of the 2,010 valid votes cast in the neighborhood at that election (92.1%). That puts the neighborhood 48.6 points above the party's district average. At the 2010 referendum 96.3% of the neighborhood voted 'no' — 35.9 points above the district average.
The tightest race came at the 2009 local election: HYP took 852 votes to CHP's 839 — a margin of just 13 votes.
