How Yenikoy votes

A single ballot box served Yenikoy at the 2023 parliamentary election, with 22 registered voters; that places it 16th among the 16 localities of Kumlu.

The neighborhood parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2023 parliamentary election it went to İYİ Parti with 20 votes, while across Kumlu the leading party was AK Parti, with İYİ Parti here running 63.6 points above its district average. In the presidential runoff, 22 of 27 valid votes went to Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu — 56.4 points above the district average. At the 2017 referendum 25 of 30 valid votes were 'no' — 46.7 points above the district average.

The tightest race came at the 2014 local election: MHP took 18 votes to CHP's 15 — a margin of just 3 votes. At the 2024 local election the neighborhood went to İYİ Parti with 6 votes, while Kumlu as a whole was won by BBP. First place has changed hands 3 times here since 2014.
