Maltepe 3 Nolu L Tipi Kapali Ceza Infaz Kurumu is one of the localities of Maltepe; it had 143 registered voters at the 2011 parliamentary election.

The neighborhood parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2011 parliamentary election it went to CHP with 46.2%, while across Maltepe the leading party was AK Parti, with CHP here running 4.6 points above its district average. The same divide shows in the presidential election: Recep Tayyip Erdoğan took 43.9% here, 2.5 points above the district average.
