How Yenisehir votes

Yenisehir ranks 34th by electorate among the 38 localities of Ümraniye; it had 5,049 registered voters at the 2023 parliamentary election.

The neighborhood parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2023 parliamentary election it went to CHP with 52.9%, while across Ümraniye the leading party was AK Parti with 40.3%, leaving CHP at 26.5%. The same divide shows in the presidential runoff: Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu took 81.1% here and 46.3% across the district.

The picture has not changed since 2019: CHP has finished first in all of the last 5 elections. At the 2019 local election the neighborhood went to CHP with 74.3%, while Ümraniye as a whole was won by AK Parti.
