How Imariye votes Imariye is one of the localities of Konak; it had 1,889 registered voters at the 2011 parliamentary election.
The neighborhood parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2011 parliamentary election it went to independents with 80.8%, while across Konak the leading party was CHP with 47.0%, leaving independents at 7.5%. The same divide shows in the presidential election: Selahattin Demirtaş took 58.3% here and 10.6% across the district. At the 2010 referendum 70.3% of the neighborhood voted 'yes'; across the district that was 33.5%.
At the 2014 local election the neighborhood went to Yeşil Sol Parti with 45.5%, while Konak as a whole was won by CHP. Turnout at the 2014 local election was 26.2%, 61.1 points below the district average.
