How Bayirli votes

Bayirli ranks 12th by electorate among the 19 localities of Çağlayancerit; it had 472 registered voters at the 2023 parliamentary election.

The neighborhood parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2023 parliamentary election it went to CHP with 85.9%, while across Çağlayancerit the leading party was AK Parti with 43.2%, leaving CHP at 20.7%. The same divide shows in the presidential runoff: Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu took 97.5% here and 33.7% across the district. At the 2010 referendum 98.5% of the neighborhood voted 'no'; across the district that was 28.7%.

At the 2009 local election the neighborhood went to CHP with 74.8%, while Çağlayancerit as a whole was won by AK Parti. Turnout at the 2009 local election was 48.8%, 37.8 points below the district average.
