How Bayirli votes

472 voters were registered in Bayirli for the 2023 parliamentary election — 12th among the 19 localities of Çağlayancerit.

The neighborhood parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2023 parliamentary election it went to CHP with 85.9%, while across Çağlayancerit the leading party was AK Parti, with CHP here running 65.3 points above its district average. The same divide shows in the presidential runoff: Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu took 97.5% here, 63.7 points above the district average. At the 2010 referendum 98.5% of the neighborhood voted 'no' — 69.8 points above the district average.

The electorate shrank from 1,530 registered voters in 2011 to 472 in 2023 — a change of about 69 percent. At the 2009 local election the neighborhood went to CHP with 74.8%, while Çağlayancerit as a whole was won by AK Parti. Turnout at the 2009 local election was 48.8%, 37.8 points below the district average.
