The neighborhood parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2023 parliamentary election it went to CHP with 78.7%, while across Ekinözü the leading party was AK Parti, with CHP here running 56.2 points above its district average. The same divide shows in the presidential runoff: Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu took 95.4% here, 63.0 points above the district average. At the 2017 referendum 94.3% of the neighborhood voted 'no' — 56.9 points above the district average.
The neighborhood has stayed on the same line since 2015: CHP has finished first in all of the last 9 elections. The tightest race came at the 2018 parliamentary election: CHP took 85 votes to Yeşil Sol Parti's 83 — a margin of just 2 votes. The electorate shrank from 289 registered voters in 2011 to 172 in 2023 — a change of about 40 percent. CHP stood at 92.4% at the 2011 parliamentary election and fell to 78.7% by 2023.
