At the 2023 parliamentary election it went to MHP with 35.9%, while across Elbistan the leading party was AK Parti, with MHP here running 21.6 points above its district average. In the presidential runoff Recep Tayyip Erdoğan took 85.5% here — 17.9 points above the district average.
First place has changed hands 3 times here since 2019. Turnout at the 2024 local election was 88.9%, 18.4 points above the district average. The tightest race came at the 2023 parliamentary election: MHP took 165 votes to AK Parti's 156 — a margin of just 9 votes. At the 2024 local election the neighborhood went to independents with 67.9%, while Elbistan as a whole was won by CHP.
