The neighborhood parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2023 parliamentary election it went to CHP with 23 votes, while across Elbistan the leading party was AK Parti with 42.8%, leaving CHP at 23.9%. In the presidential runoff, 24 of 28 valid votes went to Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu; across the district that share was 32.4%.
