Turnout at the 2009 local election was 94.8%, 6.8 points above the district average. The electorate shrank from 421 registered voters in 2011 to 146 in 2023 — a change of about 65 percent. AK Parti stood at 57.7% at the 2011 parliamentary election and fell to 35.7% by 2023. The tightest race came at the 2023 parliamentary election: AK Parti took 45 votes to MHP's 41 — a margin of just 4 votes.
