The neighborhood parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2023 parliamentary election it went to CHP with 63 votes, while across Arapgir the leading party was AK Parti with 38.2%, leaving CHP at 35.1%. In the presidential runoff, 71 of 76 valid votes went to Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu; across the district that share was 42.9%.
