Same place, formerly a town. Until 2014 this was the town (belde) of Ağılbaşı; when Law 6360 abolished the municipality it became today's neighborhood. The pre-2014 results on this page belong to that period; we combined them on one page so the place's history reads continuously.

The neighborhood parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2023 parliamentary election it went to CHP with 85.2%, while across Darende the leading party was AK Parti, with CHP here running 72.3 points above its district average. The same divide shows in the presidential runoff: Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu took 96.9% here, 79.2 points above the district average. At the 2017 referendum 97.8% of the neighborhood voted 'no' — 78.9 points above the district average.
The tightest race came at the 2019 local election: AK Parti took 91 votes to BBP's 90 — a margin of just 1 vote. At the 2009 local election the neighborhood went to CHP with 54.5%, while Darende as a whole was won by AK Parti. First place has changed hands 8 times here since 2009. The electorate shrank from 869 registered voters in 2011 to 332 in 2023 — a change of about 62 percent.
