Same place, formerly a town. Until 2014 this was the town (belde) of Ilıca; when Law 6360 abolished the municipality it became today's neighborhood. The pre-2014 results on this page belong to that period; we combined them on one page so the place's history reads continuously.

Ilica ranks 9th by electorate among the 67 localities of Darende; it had 551 registered voters at the 2023 parliamentary election.
AK Parti took 63.5% in the neighborhood at that election. Across Darende the same party stood at 50.6%, putting the neighborhood 12.8 points above the district average. In the presidential runoff Recep Tayyip Erdoğan took 90.1% here and 82.3% across the district. At the 2017 referendum 89.5% of the neighborhood voted 'yes'; across the district that was 81.1%.
The neighborhood has stayed on the same line since 2009: AK Parti has finished first in all of the last 15 elections. AK Parti recorded its highest share at the 2015 parliamentary election with 83.3%. AK Parti stood at 78.7% at the 2011 parliamentary election and fell to 63.5% by 2023. At the 2009 local election the neighborhood went to Saadet Partisi with 46.3%, while Darende as a whole was won by AK Parti. Turnout at the 2009 local election was 89.2%, 7.4 points above the district average.
