In the presidential runoff Recep Tayyip Erdoğan took 83.9% here and 59.8% across the district. At the 2017 referendum 88.8% of the neighborhood voted 'yes'; across the district that was 56.2%.

AK Parti recorded its highest share at the 2015 parliamentary election with 83.4%. AK Parti stood at 76.4% at the 2011 parliamentary election and fell to 56.7% by 2023. At the 2009 local election the neighborhood went to Saadet Partisi with 42.9%, while Doğanşehir as a whole was won by AK Parti. Turnout at the 2009 local election was 93.8%, 5.2 points above the district average.
