How Akkent votes

Akkent ranks 11th by electorate among the 16 localities of Doğanyol. The neighborhood has a single ballot box, and 38 voters were registered there for the 2023 parliamentary election.

35 people voted at that election. AK Parti took the most votes with 16; CHP followed with 5. AK Parti's share here is 7.4 points below the district average. In the presidential runoff, 23 of 34 valid votes went to Recep Tayyip Erdoğan; across the district that share was 82.5%. At the 2017 referendum 24 of 29 valid votes were 'yes'; across the district the 'yes' share was 83.0%.

At the 2024 local election the neighborhood went to Yeniden Refah with 11 votes, while Doğanyol as a whole was won by AK Parti. Turnout at the 2024 local election was 56.8%, 23.4 points below the district average.
