Same place, formerly part of a town.Guclu belonged to the town (belde) of Kurşunlu until 2014; when Law 6360 abolished the municipality it became a separate neighborhood. The pre-2014 results on this page belong to that period.

Guclu ranks 24th by electorate among the 65 localities of Hekimhan; it had 169 registered voters at the 2023 parliamentary election.
The neighborhood parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2023 parliamentary election it went to AK Parti with 61.7%, while across Hekimhan the leading party was CHP with 45.1%, leaving AK Parti at 25.1%. The same divide shows in the presidential runoff: Recep Tayyip Erdoğan took 90.6% here and 44.8% across the district. At the 2017 referendum 88.8% of the neighborhood voted 'yes'; across the district that was 40.8%.
AK Parti stood at 94.4% at the 2011 parliamentary election and fell to 61.7% by 2023. At the 2009 local election the neighborhood went to AK Parti with 70.2%, while Hekimhan as a whole was won by CHP.
