AK Parti took 96.2% in the neighborhood at that election. Across Malatya Merkez the same party stood at 70.7%, putting the neighborhood 25.5 points above the district average. At the 2010 referendum 99.7% of the neighborhood voted 'yes'; across the district that was 76.9%.
