Same place, formerly a town. Until 2014 this was the town (belde) of Durucasu; when Law 6360 abolished the municipality it became today's neighborhood. The pre-2014 results on this page belong to that period; we combined them on one page so the place's history reads continuously.

Durucasu ranks 1st by electorate among the 33 localities of Yazıhan; it had 1,213 registered voters at the 2023 parliamentary election.
AK Parti took 42.8% in the neighborhood at that election. Across Yazıhan the same party stood at 39.1%, putting the neighborhood 3.7 points above the district average. In the presidential runoff Recep Tayyip Erdoğan took 82.0% here and 66.2% across the district. At the 2017 referendum 83.3% of the neighborhood voted 'yes'; across the district that was 65.3%.
The neighborhood has stayed on the same line since 2011: AK Parti has finished first in all of the last 14 elections. AK Parti recorded its highest share at the 2015 parliamentary election with 85.2%. AK Parti stood at 84.0% at the 2011 parliamentary election and fell to 42.8% by 2023. At the 2009 local election the neighborhood went to Saadet Partisi with 42.2%, while Yazıhan as a whole was won by AK Parti. Turnout at the 2009 local election was 92.9%, 10.8 points above the district average.
