In the presidential runoff Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu took 96.1% here — 16.8 points above the district average. At the 2017 referendum 94.0% of the neighborhood voted 'no' — 22.0 points above the district average.
The neighborhood has stayed on the same line since 2014: the same political line has finished first in all of the last 7 elections (BDP in 2014, Yeşil Sol Parti in 2015, HDP in 2019, DEM Parti in 2024). Yeşil Sol Parti stood at 99.3% at the 2015 parliamentary election and fell to 89.8% by 2023. The electorate shrank from 616 registered voters in 2011 to 259 in 2023 — a change of about 58 percent. At the 2023 parliamentary election 13 of 180 ballots cast were ruled invalid (7.2%), well above the district average.
