How Arslankaya votes

Arslankaya ranks 22nd by electorate among the 78 localities of Malazgirt; it had 404 registered voters at the 2023 parliamentary election.

Yeşil Sol Parti took 82.6% in the neighborhood at that election. Across Malazgirt the same party stood at 74.7%, putting the neighborhood 7.9 points above the district average. In the presidential runoff Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu took 84.6% here and 77.6% across the district. At the 2017 referendum 82.2% of the neighborhood voted 'no'; across the district that was 71.5%.

The neighborhood has stayed on the same line since 2014: the same political line has finished first in all of the last 7 elections (BDP in 2014, Yeşil Sol Parti in 2015, HDP in 2019, DEM Parti in 2024). Yeşil Sol Parti stood at 99.8% at the 2015 parliamentary election and fell to 82.6% by 2023. Turnout at the 2024 local election was 79.7%, 6.3 points above the district average.
