Same place, formerly a town. Until 2014 this was the town (belde) of Gülkoru; when Law 6360 abolished the municipality it became today's neighborhood. The pre-2014 results on this page belong to that period; we combined them on one page so the place's history reads continuously.

Yeşil Sol Parti took 80.9% in the village at that election. Across Malazgirt the same party stood at 74.7%, putting the village 6.3 points above the district average. In the presidential runoff Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu took 76.6% here and 77.6% across the district. At the 2017 referendum 60.8% of the village voted 'no'; across the district that was 71.5%.
The village has stayed on the same line since 2014: the same political line has finished first in all of the last 7 elections (BDP in 2014, Yeşil Sol Parti in 2015, HDP in 2019, DEM Parti in 2024). Yeşil Sol Parti stood at 96.6% at the 2015 parliamentary election and fell to 80.9% by 2023.
