How Selekutlu votes

Selekutlu ranks 37th by electorate among the 78 localities of Malazgirt. The village has a single ballot box, and 227 voters were registered there for the 2023 parliamentary election.

176 people voted at that election. Yeşil Sol Parti took the most votes with 138; AK Parti followed with 11. Yeşil Sol Parti's share here is 7.9 points above the district average. In the presidential runoff, 147 of 171 valid votes went to Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu; across the district that share was 77.6%. At the 2017 referendum 95 of 143 valid votes were 'no'; across the district the 'no' share was 71.5%.

The village has stayed on the same line since 2014: the same political line has finished first in all of the last 7 elections (BDP in 2014, Yeşil Sol Parti in 2015, HDP in 2019, DEM Parti in 2024).
