Ranked 112th among the 145 localities of Muş, Arikoy carried 185 registered voters at the 2023 parliamentary election.
The neighborhood parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2023 parliamentary election it went to AK Parti with 69.6%, while across Muş the leading party was Yeşil Sol Parti, with AK Parti here running 41.0 points above its district average. In the presidential runoff Recep Tayyip Erdoğan took 97.3% here — 43.6 points above the district average. At the 2017 referendum 95.1% of the neighborhood voted 'yes' — 30.4 points above the district average.
Turnout at the 2023 parliamentary election was 93.0%, 12.6 points above the district average. At the 2024 local election the neighborhood went to AK Parti with 45.2%, while Muş as a whole was won by DEM Parti. The picture has not changed since 2009: AK Parti has finished first in all of the last 9 elections. AK Parti stood at 94.6% at the 2011 parliamentary election and fell to 69.6% by 2023.
