How Guzeltepe votes

Guzeltepe is one of the localities of Muş; it had 1,522 registered voters at the 2018 parliamentary election.

The village parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2018 parliamentary election it went to Yeşil Sol Parti with 51.1%, while across Muş the leading party was AK Parti with 43.6%, leaving Yeşil Sol Parti at 40.4%. The same divide shows in the presidential election: Selahattin Demirtaş took 48.8% here and 39.1% across the district. At the 2017 referendum 65.4% of the village voted 'yes'; across the district that was 64.7%.

Yeşil Sol Parti stood at 71.7% at the 2015 parliamentary election and fell to 51.1% by 2018. Turnout at the 2018 parliamentary election was 71.7%, 9.6 points below the district average.
