Sutluce is one of the localities of Muş; it had 2,505 registered voters at the 2018 parliamentary election.
The village parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2018 parliamentary election it went to Yeşil Sol Parti with 47.9%, while across Muş the leading party was AK Parti with 43.6%, leaving Yeşil Sol Parti at 40.4%. In the presidential election Recep Tayyip Erdoğan took 47.6% here and 53.2% across the district. At the 2017 referendum 58.0% of the village voted 'yes'; across the district that was 64.7%.
Yeşil Sol Parti stood at 60.8% at the 2015 parliamentary election and fell to 47.9% by 2018. Turnout at the 2014 local election was 75.0%, 7.6 points below the district average.
