The neighborhood parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2023 parliamentary election it went to AK Parti with 45 votes, while across Muş the leading party was Yeşil Sol Parti, with AK Parti here running 29.8 points above its district average. In the presidential runoff, 61 of 78 valid votes went to Recep Tayyip Erdoğan — 24.5 points above the district average. At the 2017 referendum 94 of 114 valid votes were 'yes' — 17.8 points above the district average.
Turnout at the 2024 local election was 87.7%, 16.2 points above the district average. The electorate grew from 101 registered voters in 2011 to 123 in 2023 — a change of about 22 percent. The tightest race came at the 2015 parliamentary election: AK Parti took 39 votes to Yeşil Sol Parti's 36 — a margin of just 3 votes.
