Yorecik is one of the localities of Muş. The neighborhood has a single ballot box, and 20 voters were registered there for the 2015 parliamentary election.
The neighborhood parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2015 parliamentary election it went to Yeşil Sol Parti with 20 votes, while across Muş the leading party was AK Parti with 52.2%, leaving Yeşil Sol Parti at 42.8%. In the presidential election, 16 of 18 valid votes went to Selahattin Demirtaş; across the district that share was 42.0%. At the 2017 referendum 8 of 16 valid votes were 'yes'; across the district the 'yes' share was 64.7%.
The picture has not changed since 2014: the same political line has finished first in all of the last 5 elections (BDP in 2014, Yeşil Sol Parti in 2015, HDP in 2019, DEM Parti in 2024). Turnout at the 2024 local election was 60.7%, 10.8 points below the district average.
