How Acarkent votes

Acarkent is one of the localities of Varto; it had 144 registered voters at the 2015 parliamentary election.

116 people voted at that election. Yeşil Sol Parti took the most votes with 84; CHP followed with 29. Yeşil Sol Parti's share here is 18.6 points below the district average. In the presidential election, 71 of 144 valid votes went to Selahattin Demirtaş — 38.8 points below the district average. At the 2017 referendum 102 of 102 valid votes were 'no' — 13.9 points above the district average.

At the 2024 local election the neighborhood went to CHP with 59 votes, while Varto as a whole was won by DEM Parti. Turnout at the 2024 local election was 76.8%, 9.9 points above the district average.
