Akcatepe ranks 36th by electorate among the 54 localities of Varto. The neighborhood has a single ballot box, and 177 voters were registered there for the 2023 parliamentary election.

In the presidential runoff, 132 of 144 valid votes went to Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu; across the district that share was 89.2%.
