How Cayonu votes

Cayonu is one of the localities of Varto. The neighborhood has a single ballot box, and 23 voters were registered there for the 2015 parliamentary election.

20 people voted at that election. Yeşil Sol Parti took the most votes with 16; CHP followed with 3. Yeşil Sol Parti's share here is 11.0 points below the district average. In the presidential election, 21 of 36 valid votes went to Ekmeleddin Mehmet İhsanoğlu; across the district that share was 8.3%. At the 2017 referendum 7 of 12 valid votes were 'no'; across the district the 'no' share was 86.1%.

At the 2024 local election the neighborhood went to AK Parti with 11 votes, while Varto as a whole was won by DEM Parti. Turnout at the 2024 local election was 54.5%, 12.3 points below the district average.
