How Eryurdu votes

Eryurdu is one of the localities of Varto; it had 70 registered voters at the 2015 parliamentary election.

62 people voted at that election. Yeşil Sol Parti took the most votes with 51; CHP followed with 9. Yeşil Sol Parti's share here is 8.8 points below the district average. In the presidential election, 72 of 98 valid votes went to Selahattin Demirtaş — 14.7 points below the district average. At the 2017 referendum 46 of 50 valid votes were 'no' — 5.9 points above the district average.

At the 2024 local election the neighborhood went to CHP with 17 votes, while Varto as a whole was won by DEM Parti. The tightest race came at the 2024 local election: CHP took 17 votes to DEM Parti's 16 — a margin of just 1 vote. Turnout at the 2024 local election was 56.6%, 10.3 points below the district average.
